Petrockstowe village is lucky enough to have two places of worship.
Petrockstowe Methodist Church is in the centre of the village and was built in 1933. It is a charming chapel with a schoolroom and is part of the West Devon Methodist Circuit. Further photos here.
St Petroc's Church is the parish church and sits above the village. There are over 700 years of church history in this building dating from the 12th Century. It is sadly in need of much repair and we have not been able to obtain grants to repair the roof or repoint the walls. It has recently failed its electrical inspection due to water ingress and is closed on Health and Safety grounds whilst we consider what to do. More historical information can be found here.
